How to Add Beacons

The simplest method to add a driver to the platform is by using the Add Asset Wizard.

Steps for Adding a Driver:

  1. Configuring the Web App:
    • Ensure the driver appears under the correct client with the desired name.
  2. Setting Up the Hardware:
    • Configure the hardware to properly read the driver tag and handle the immobilization aspect.

Adding a Device to the Platform:

  1. Navigate to Admin > Add Asset Wizard.

  2. Select the Client to associate with the driver.

  3. Choose the Device Hardware Type.

  4. Enter the Tag ID details by providing the Tag Number and selecting the Device Plan.

  5. Fill in the Asset Name, Asset Group, upload a Photo, and select an Icon.

  6. Click Finish to save the information.

  7. Finally, click Save Beacon Details to complete the process.
